Last weekend of September is Jammed Pack Weekend of Activity

Where do I begin?  Bring out your boots and hats to enjoy Lewisville has Western Days, eat, drink and enjoy German music in McKinney for Oktoberfest, Keller has How the West Was Won 5K run and Wild, Wild West festival and Keller Farmers Market,  Southlake is hosting the North Texas Walk for PkD, Dragon Band March-a-thon and Carroll ISD Emerald Belles workshop and the Southlake Department of Public Safety is having a Safety Fair.  Admission is free on Saturday to the Dallas Museum of Art which is the opening day for Encountering Space.  Denton Police Association is hosting it's annual MidNight Hoops 2010 tournament which allows middle school to college level folks to play basketball in the later hours of the evening.  That tournament takes place at Billy Ryan High School and is free.  As you can see, there is plenty to do the weekend of 9/24-9/27 in the DFW area.
