I Heard It Through The Grapevine

Yet another busy weekend in the DFW area, not only is Plano offering their annual balloon festival (once in the air a great view of Lake Lewisville) Friday, 9/17 - Sunday, 9/19 but Grapevine (which is directly on Lake Grapevine) is having their annual Grape Fest Thursday, 9/16 - Sunday, 9/19.  This Grape Festival boasts the largest wine festival in the southwest.  All Texas wines will be featured.  There will be classic wine tastings, non stop entertainment, arts & crafts, culinary food stations, KidZone fun games, tennis and golf tournaments and more.  Plenty of free parking is available with shuttle buses taking you into Grapevine running on a regular basis.  For a grape stomping good time, head out to Grapevine this weekend.
